Terrible Disguises of the Day: Artist Simon Menner combed the files of the East German secret police for his photo exhibition, "Pictures from the Secret Stasi Archives," and found some pretty absurd material.
Photos from an internal Stasi training class called "Art of Disguising" make it look like these guys learned disguise by watching cartoons. Pro Tip: putting on sunglasses will never make you look less like a spy.
What the Stasi lacked in disguise skills, they apparently made up in secret search techniques. Renner's crawl through the archives also turned up snapshots that the secret police used to put everything back in its place after covertly searching people's apartments.
