Bike Laser of the Day: The BLAZE bike laser, designed by a student at the University of Brighton, helps keep cyclists safer in traffic.
No, it doesn't cut through cars like butter (sorry, cycle vigilantes!), but the handlebar-mounted unit does project a laser image of a bike onto the ground, giving drivers an extra heads-up.
It's just a matter of time until someone hacks a BLAZE unit to project the Bat-symbol.
