Animated GIFs IRL of the Day: The Physical GIF project aims to bring a previously web-only art form, the animated GIF, into the real world. Using Kickstarter funding, laser-cutting, and Victorian zoetrope technology, Physical GIF will build IRL versions of GIFs by four artists.
Donate $350+ to the project and you can own the physical incarnation of any GIF you choose. For the love of the Internet and all that is holy, I hope someone picks Pop Tart Cat.
